On Sunday, November 15th, Phi Mu Delta hosted a Call of Duty tournament, donating all proceeds to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Several teams of brothers also participated in the tournament. Brothers Chris Amthor, Chris "The Snake" Rovere, David Rounsley-Maxwell, and Alex Grusler, forming team German Efficiency, made it to the finals but fell to team Off in the Woods, who were far more prepared. The tournament was featured in the Daily Collegian. Click the link to read the article.
The brotherhood would like to thank Max Freeman for all his hard work in setting the event up. Furthermore Phi Mu Delta would like to thank Subway and Qdoba for sponsoring the tournament.

Philanthropy 04/22/2009

Hey everyone,
Just a quick update on our how our Philanthropy went for the spring semester.  We raised $150 for the Saint Jude's Children's Hospital thanks for Panda Express in the HUB.  They donated a portion of the money that they made when people came in with our flyers and we did a great job distributing them.  Next year we will have bigger philanthropy events so stay tuned for those to come.  Earlier in the year we also held our second annual food drive for the State College Food bank where we collected non perrishable foods.  We ended up collecting lots of food this semester and we will be holding the same event again next year.
